THE WINE
Dominique Richard’s winery covers 26 hectares, most of which is devoted to Muscadet wine. Since 1975 he has been using his know-how to produce a fine, flavourful wine, whose pale color has fleeting emerald-green reflections. The list of prizes is long: 3 gold medals at the Paris agricultural fair in the last 15 years, the 1996 production was proclaimed a “coup de coeur” (love at first sight) by the discerning Hachette guide. 2001 was a great year for gold medals; in Paris, Nantes and Mâcon. And in Vallet in 2002, the wines were awarded the Saint Vincent grand prize.
Fabienne Richard de Tournay not only expertly commercializes Loire valley wines, but also designs the labels, transport boxes and gift boxes with undeniable good taste. The site combines beauty and utility in the form of an art gallery and reception rooms.
